Privacy Policy
Koko is a small, warm pocket on your iPhone for saving thoughts, little wins, and everyday fragments. Here is what we might touch, what stays with you, and what we will not trade away.
- Open the door, skip the form Use Koko’s core tools without registering or handing over an inbox address.
- Your scraps, not our product Captions, tags, and mood marks you add are not stitched into ad audiences.
- Zero resale lane We do not sell, lease, or swap your personal bits with data merchants.
Coverage
This policy applies to the Koko app on the Apple App Store and to the public read-only API on this domain. It speaks to people who use Koko and visitors reading these terms in a browser.
What Koko Collects
Koko does not demand your legal name, email, phone, home address, government ID, or card details to enjoy its main features.
Snippets, labels, favorites, and check-ins you compose live inside your app experience. We do not harvest them for behavioral ads or third-party lists.
Occasionally the app pulls shared wording — welcome screens, empty-state hints, sample prompts — from JSON hosted here. That material is public boilerplate, not your private lines.
Phone Permissions
Koko uses ordinary iOS facilities like on-device storage and network access when you choose to load remote tips or templates. We avoid contacts, camera roll, microphone, and GPS unless a later, clearly named feature needs them and this page is revised.
Crash or usage diagnostics you voluntarily share with Apple follow Apple’s separate privacy rules.
Partners Behind the Scenes
Hosting vendors keep this policy page and API endpoints online. They see routine traffic logs needed to run servers and operate under their own policies.
If optional analytics or help-desk tools arrive later, we will name them here and gather only what those tools truly require.
Kids
Koko is not built for users under 13. We do not knowingly hold data from children. If you think a minor entered personal info, reach out through App Store support and we will help remove it when we can.
Safety and Storage
What you stash in Koko stays under your thumb on your device. Erase entries inside the app or delete Koko entirely to clear local copies.
We guard our hosted bits with sensible measures, yet no app is bulletproof — treat delicate memories like you would a locked notebook.
Controls You Hold
Walk away from Koko whenever you like. Cut its network permission in iOS Settings if you want a quieter, offline rhythm where supported.
Questions about access, fixes, or deletion of data we manage can go to the support link on our App Store page.
Revisions
We may tweak this policy as Koko grows or regulations shift. The badge date in the header marks meaningful edits. Keeping the app after a change means you accept the update where law allows.
